DAVID NUNN
composer
I'm a composer and pianist based in Tottenham, London. I have a holistic approach to music teaching, ensuring that students become well-rounded musicians and, above all else, that they enjoy music-making. In lessons, we cover everything: musicality, technique, listening skills and theory (if required). I teach on a Yamaha upright in my garden studio in N15.
As an experienced performer across classical, pop, jazz and indie genres, I'm able to guide students through anything they want to learn. I am also happy to prepare students for exam entry up to Grade 8 level. I have particular experience teaching students with SEN / additional needs including visual impairment. I've been teaching students of various ages and abilities for six years and have 100% pass rate for ABRSM and Trinity exams.
I graduated in 2020 from the Royal Academy of Music with a Masters in Composition and Licentiate in Music Education. I also have a first-class degree in Music from the University of Cambridge and an ABRSM diploma in piano. I'm a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians.
